Speaking about Durga Puja Mou says,”Durga puja is very close to my heart as its the only time of the year when whole family is together enjoying the festivities and feels like Maa Durga has come down to bless us.
My fondest memory of Durga puja from my childhood was with my father he used to take me for pandal hoping on the very first day on his scooter as later vehicles were not allowed.
Not Kolkata but i am missing my hometown Ranchi Puja there ambience is in total very different starting from the puja shopping a month before to visarjan of Devi. I am enjoying puja here in Mumbai, though its my first time but the Durga Puja organised by Sandeep Dasgupta in FM Banquet is giving all the bengali feel as its our main festival. I have visited few pandals and also had some delicious bhog and looking forward to visiting few more around the city. Its one time of the year i again become kid and enjoy the festivities and food to the fullest.”
Mou is currently finalising the cast of her film and meeting lot of actors.”

यह भी पहली बार है जब मुंबई में दुर्गा पूजा के दौरान वे मौजूद हैं, दुर्गा पूजा के बारे में बोलते हुए कहती हैं- दुर्गा पूजा मेरे दिल के बहुत करीब है, क्योंकि साल का एकमात्र समय है जब पूरा परिवार एक साथ उत्सव का आनंद ले रहा है और लगता है कि मां दुर्गा हमें आशीर्वाद देने के लिए ही धरती पर आ गई हैं।
वे बताती हैं- बचपन से दुर्गा पूजा की मेरी सबसे अच्छी स्मृति मेरे पिता के साथ है, वे मुझे अपने स्कूटर पर पहले दिन पूजा-पंडाल ले जाते थे, क्योंकि बाद में वाहनों की अनुमति नहीं होती थी।
मुझे अपने गृहनगर रांची की पूजा की याद आ रही है, कुल मिलाकर देवी की दर्शन से एक महीने पहले की जाने वाली पूजा की शुरुआत से अलग माहौल है। मैं यहां मुंबई में पूजा का आनंद ले रही हूं. हालांकि, मुंबई में यह मेरा पहला मौका है, लेकिन एफएम बैंक्वेट में संदीप दासगुप्ता द्वारा आयोजित दुर्गा पूजा सभी को हमारे मुख्य त्योहार के रूप में मनाने का सुखद अवसर का अहसास करा रही है। मैंने कुछ पंडालों का दौरा किया है और कुछ स्वादिष्ट भोग का आनंद भी लिया हैं.
वे कहतीं हैं- वर्ष का यह एक समय है जब मैं फिर से बच्चा बन जाता हूं और उत्सव और भोजन का आनंद उठाती हूं।
वे वर्तमान में अपनी फिल्म के कलाकारों के चयन में व्यस्त हैं और इसके लिए कई कलाकारों से मिल भी रही हैं!
