The Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology – Institute of Forensic Science and Cyber Security (NSIT-IFSCS), Jetalpur, Ahmedabad, successfully organized “Satya Samadhan 2.0,” a National-level Crime Scene and Forensic Investigation event that witnessed enthusiastic participation with 45 teams consisting of 225 students across India. The event commenced with lighting of the lamp by esteemed Board of Governors members Babulal Patel, Dharmesh Vandra, Dr. Surbhi Mathur ( NFSU, Gandhinagar) , Dr. Sushil Goswami (GNLU, Gandhinagar), Prof. (Dr.) Sailesh Iyer (Principal, NSIT-IFSCS) and Sanjay Sharma ( Campus Director, NSIT-IFSCS).

Prof. (Dr.) Sailesh Iyer Principal, NSIT-IFSCS welcomed the dignitaries and participants and provided an outline of the Event. Vice President Dharmesh Vandra in his inaugural address motivated the audience and emphasized the growing importance of forensic science, ethical investigation, and interdisciplinary learning in modern criminal justice systems.

The event aimed to provide hands-on exposure to practical crime scene investigation, analytical reasoning, and forensic problem-solving. Teams actively engaged in simulated crime scene investigations, applying scientific techniques, logical deduction, and teamwork to solve complex cases.
The Grand event of Satya Samadhan 2.0 held was judged by Dr. Surbhi Mathur and Dr. Sushil Goswami. The student coordination team, led by Afsheen Khureshi, Princy Gautam and other dedicated student coordinators, played a pivotal role in the smooth execution and success of the event. Their leadership and organizational efforts ensured effective coordination of participants from diverse institutions nationwide.
The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sailesh Iyer and Campus Director Sanjay Sharma and successful execution by the organizing team coordinated by Dr. Geeta Gupta, Mr. Aaromal Venugopal and entire Team of Faculties and Administrative Staff whose commitment and expertise were instrumental in making Satya Samadhan 2.0 a grand success. Prize money of Rs. 20000 for Winner and Rs. 15000 for Runner’s up team was awarded.

Several other teams, including Silent Snoopers, Scalpel Demons, Lucid Locards, and Deadly Deduction, showcased commendable performance, reflecting high levels of forensic knowledge and investigative aptitude.
The judges appreciated the leadership and efforts in execution of the event. Feedback from the participants was very encouraging. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Geeta Gupta who acknowledged the able support of the Management and support of all stakeholders in successful conduction of Satya Samadhan 2.0.
The institute’s lecturer, Mrs. Vishali Sharma, informed that Satya Samadhan 2.0 stood as a testament to NSIT-IFSCS’s commitment to fostering experiential learning, nurturing forensic talent, and promoting academic excellence on a national platform.
